  • Description

A new take on Alberta Cross's debut album 'The Thief & The Heartbreaker', which set the foundation for their Americana-tinged indie and alternative sound

The album includes new versions of all the original album tracks & features a veritable wealth of musical collaborations with close friends including Band Of Skulls, Katie Melua, Jack Savoretti, Ed Harcourt, Starsailor's James Walsh, Joseph Arthur, Dan Mangan, Dylan Leblanc, Tomas Andersson Wij & Arum Rae.

Originally released in 2007 as a collection of self- produced demos, Alberta Cross's debut 'The Thief and The Heartbreaker' set the blueprint of their sound. What followed was success on both sides of the Atlantic & this new version of the album - recorded in Frome, Somerset, at Ethan John and Dom

Monks (Big Thief) Bert Jansch studio and mastered at the hallowed Abbey Road Studios - honours the original whilst breathing new life into each track and making clear that Alberta Cross's debut remains a timeless classic.
