The Head and The Heart (15th Anniversary Edition)

The Head and the Heart revisit their self-titled debut, expanding the record that first introduced their harmony-rich folk-rock to a wider audience. Originally self-released in 2010 before being reissued by Sub Pop, The Head and the Heart helped carry the Seattle band from local shows to international stages.

Built on intertwining vocals, piano, violin and open-hearted songwriting, the album explores connection, restlessness and reflection across songs such as ‘Lost in My Mind’, ‘Down in the Valley’ and ‘Rivers and Roads’. Its understated craft and communal spirit resonated widely, earning Gold certification in the US and establishing a loyal following.

This expanded double LP presents the original album newly remastered, alongside seven bonus cuts: a mix of demos, live recordings, a previously unreleased studio track and a live track available on physical format for the first time.
