In celebration of the 20th anniversary of 'Spider-Man 2', Sony Classical proudly presents Danny Elfman's iconic original score on vinyl for the first time ever. Conducted by Pete Anthony and performed by the 100 piece Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestra, this special release features Elfman's masterful compositions for the second installment of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, and Alfred Molina. As Peter Parker navigates his dual life as a college student and superhuman crime fighter, Elfman's score delves deep into character emotions, revisiting and expanding on his classic Spider-Man themes while introducing a bold and ominous new motif for Peter's latest nemesis, Doc Ock. The album also includes two bonus tracks composed and recorded by Elfman but not included in the final film: the action-packed, brass and percussion-led 'Train/Appreciation' and the tender, heartfelt 'Aunt May Packs', offering fans a glimpse into Elfman's original vision.
